The main idea of the text is to classify different types of computer systems according to their size, functionality, and data handling. The text is divided into four logical parts. The first logical part explains the main types of computer classification and focuses on classification by size: supercomputers, mainframes, minicomputers, and microcomputers. The second logical part describes these categories briefly: supercomputers, that used for complex scientific tasks, mainframes, that used in banks and large organizations, and minicomputers, mid-range, multi-user systems and workstations. The third logical part is devoted to microcomputers and their varieties, such as desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and handheld devices. The fourth logical part describes other types of systems, including wearable computers and embedded computers used inside machines like cars or household devices. The author states that computers vary greatly in size and function — from very large systems to very small embedded devices. - Your opinion
